 'Brian's Community Van' has been spotted again!
The last quarter of 2004 was a busy one for Brian's Community Van! The van, which is a fifteen-passenger vehicle operated by Brian Linscott of Linscott Real Estate, is made available to local charities for use at one or two day events.
During the last months of the year we have used the van to support the Brain Injury Association of Maine's annual Walk for Brian Injury Prevention, the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk, the Sportshoe Center Maine Marathon/Half Marathon/Relay which benefited Camp Sunshine this year, and the Preble Street Resource Center. These are all fantastic organizations in our community and we are happy to be able to support their efforts to 'Make a Difference' in people's lives.
The Van is sponsored by local businesses and we'd like to say a special thank you to First Financial Mortgage, Lender's Network, Allen & Coles Moving Systems and Blake Hall Sprague Soule Allen Insurance Company who have all stepped up to support our effort to help local charitable organizations.'
