Van Sighting!!
Brian's Community Van supported the American Heart Association's Southern Maine Heart Walk on May 15th. This year's walk was a great success with 650 fundraising walkers and it looks like it will net $178,000 raised to fund heart and stroke research and education!
'We've supported this great event for a number of years,' states Brian Linscott, broker/owner of Linscott Real Estate. 'It's great to get out in the community and be able to help such a worthy cause!'
Brian's Community Van is a fifteen-passenger vehicle which is made available to local charities for use at one or two day events. The van has several sponsors that have made it possible to offer this service to the community. First Financial Mortgage, Lender's Network, Allen & Coles Moving Systems and Blake Hall & Allen Insurance have all stepped up to support the effort to help local charitable organizations.
