Our Sales Numbers Are Climbing! By the end of December, we project our 2007 sales numbers to be up 12-14% over our production levels for 2006!! At a time when we hear so many terrible housing market reports, we are happy to be going strong. Even MREIS (Maine Real Estate Information System) has released it’s latest statistics showing that home sales in the state of Maine dropped 16% as compared to 2006. The real estate market has definitely changed, but properties are still selling, especially those that are well staged and priced for their price range. But it is now more important than ever to use the experience of a local Realtor to assist you in researching the market, advising you in pricing your home, and to aggressively market your home for you. There are buyers out there, but they are savvy buyers and with more housing inventory, they are more picky about the homes they view and ultimately purchase. Marketing is key to getting their attention and a good Realtor will offer you a strong marketing plan to get your home sold! It matters who is representing you!
